Nettle’s Artist Statement – 9th November 2016

“I like being clever and when I am younger I like my art to be the best and everybody likes their art how it should be. I try to make what they want when I make art for other people. I try to make them and I make another and ask them and then they tell me.

I want my favorite stuff, is having nice stuff, nice is about … I like mermaids. I like to do drawing, because it’s easy. I think properly so my art is good.  First I think with a pen and then when I done it and then I think some more and add something and add something else.

I first spell it with my lips and then it comes in my brain and then I have an idea what to draw. I would like to do an Orca I want to go the Haus des Meeres to see the shark so I can draw it. I like being a champion.

I sit and think for inspiration. Ideas just come at any time from my mind. Rarely I copy, more I am just inspired while thinking. I like doing art, I don’t know the reason why. I do not do it for money, but if I had money I would buy a gold medal for me as I am a champion.”
